Asset Languages results in 2007/08 will be issued on the following dates:

Each external assessment covers an entire stage of the DCSF Languages Ladder. Candidates who achieve marks at or above the minimum standard will be awarded one of three grades:

All of these grades count as a ‘Pass’.
For each stage, the highest number is the highest grade available (e.g. 3 is the highest grade for the Breakthrough Stage). Candidates who have not achieved the minimum standard for an assessment will be shown as U (Ungraded). This applies to all stages.
Absent candidates are shown as X.
Certificates issued to candidates will feature explanatory text printed on the reverse, containing the Languages Ladder ‘Can-Do’ statements that relate to each grade.
